Step 6: Check
What do I have to check?
In your check proceed in the following 3 stages:
- Implementation check
Check whether the measures stipulated have been implemented on schedule by those delegated to do so. - Effectiveness check
Check whether the required goal has been achieved and the hazard has actually been eliminated. Alongside the formal confirmation endorsement in the documentation that the deadline set has been met, the effectiveness of the measure must be checked (for example, follow-up measurements). Check whether new or different hazards have arisen as a result of the measures. - Preservation check
Check whether the state that has been achieved is preserved or whether further measures may become necessary.
A person with responsibility for the check must be laid down. Record the result of the check in writing.
